Preserved former London Transport DM2646 now owned by Ensignbus and carrying the livery it wore during 1979 as part of the London Transport 150-year celebrations.

The bus was operating at the Stockwell (SW) Garage Open Day 11th June 2022 and is on a (short) running recreating of route 181 from Tooting Bec to Stockwell Bus Garage. DM2646 operated from SW between 1981-1985 before moving onto Sutton (source ‘The London Bus’, a LOTS publication).

The bus is a Leyland Fleetline fitted with the B20 quiet pack and has a Leyland 0690 engine which was retrofitted when it was preserved, in lieu of the Iveco engine it carried from the late 1980's when it was re-engined by London Transport whilst based at Sutton.

The intermittent fault with the emergency exit has persisted throughout the day hence the intermittent ringing throughout.
