Mike and Vickie Herrington were thinking about a #Transition to the Western Slope of Colorado as they had been retired about a year living in Thornton, Colorado. Vickie came to a Transition Living Real Estate Team tm event to learn about Peer Counseling for Seniors.

At that meeting she met Carra Riley and was impressed that anyone could just call her and get information on Real Estate with no obligation just to start to investigate what steps are involved to relocate. Even if they were not moving in 1 to 5 years, there was NO pressure, just pure information.

They two met with Carra and Shae Riley before taking a trip to Grand Junction and it was suggested by Carra that they look at Montrose, Colorado while they were there. They decided to do that and fell in Love with the area.

Carra and Shae Riley kicked into high gear helping with staging ideas and providing resources to repair things before the home went on the market. They used the "Coming Soon" marketing platform and had an offer the 3rd day the home was exposed to the market.

The inspection was completed and repairs performed by Transition Living Real Estate Team tm resources. The appraisal come and and a closing was coordinated with the listing agent in Montrose so there were no double moves involved.
