I'm here to answer questions though
First. I am new to reddit, but not destiny. So sorry if i don't understand the boards here, I have been told this is where the "Classier" Destiny players hang out.
Second. This may have already been posted, if so I am sorry.
Third. This wasn't my idea, my buddy gilly invited me to this group and they tought me it.
Anyway, here's how it goes.
1st Phase.
DO NOT DAMAGE OGRES TILL YOU HAVE BRAND AND THE WHOLE TEAM IS IN THE MIDDLE
-This strat basically puts all 4 players who have a plate, on one.
Why? because this helps get the Light Eater Ogres to agro on you, not the relic runner. ***** IF YOU ARE ON THE PLATE WITH ORYX, YOU MUST HIDE AS SOON AS RELIC RUNNER HAS THE RELIC! or, Oryx will start shooting you Instead.
-6th guy hangs out on the sister platform and stays alive, possibly agroing the Ogres so they don't focus on relic runner. This strat makes this 6th man/woman a bonus. He is not necessary (Seriously). All he does is stays alive in case someone else dies, so he can take over his plate. (This is "easily" 5 Manable). That's it for 6th man!
Relic Runner. Stay alive. This whole strat is so easy for everyone except you. Grab the brand from the knight and B-Line to the center
Okay Everyone is center now. Get those Malices ready! HOPEFULLY your team can kill the Yellow Knight before staggering Oryx, but it is NOT necessary. Staggering Oryx is the main priority for obvious reasons.
OKAY, Oryx has staggered, now what? Kill the yellow knight if you have not. Now kill all ogres. Some will be close, some will be near. Timing is Key here as you need them to all die in a similar time frame to each other. Why??? Because this completely removes the Light Eater Knights from the fight. They only spawn when the Ogres die, so they have no chance to play smile emoticon. Also 2 Guys (6th man and relic guy) shoot Oryx the whole time and the 4 Platformers shoot at the ogre who is presently closes to the plate.
OKAY ALL OGRES ARE DEAD NOW WHAT??
Timing is KEY here again. Why?? because the count down to the super white blast thing that kills anyone not in the aura, starts as soon as you start detonating blight bombs. SOOOO make sure the guys who have a far run go first and you all get into you bomb at roughly the same time, give or take.
SOME TIMES***** Ogres will join you in your aura, this is NOT a problem unless you kill them before the rest of the team is detonating. Just leave them alive until the other bombs pop, then waste the ones on top of you and detonate those bubbles safely from you invincibility. Too easy.
SOMETIMES***** a bubble is to far and you don't think you will make it or timing gets messed up, that it okay because you have 8 runs till enrage. Dying sucks a lot more then missing a bubble and doing an extra run.
ALSO Never ever ever pop titan bubbles in the middle. It's GG at that point and ruins the whole strat. Save these for the Shade round they are super helpful.
The rest of the fight is the exact same as normal smile emoticon just stay alive and get loot.
