Xaphoon de Catalunya by REVEREND GROMBERG

This Xaphoon is a beautiful member of the Xaphoon family. ‬ Made of Olive wood, whichs grows slowly, it creates wonderful structures and, when shaped into a Xaphoon, draws out a soft warm and full tone.‬ Sometimes I think it tends more to sound like a clarinet than a sax, but sometimes it is exactly the opposite... if you are cool to perform with a Maui bamboo xaphoon you will find a great additional piece of instrument with the Olive wood version! This is a first try after three days, let's see what the next weeks will bring inspiration and more safetiness in playing.
