The demo is recorded in mono, because this is a mono pedal, and I played some presets of the XD, which are quite decent. You can activate captions for a brief description on each mode.

First, this is a mono guy. This is quite important when we talk about reverbs and synths. Neither bad nor good. Simply different. I believe that we are quite obsessed with the expansion of the sound spectrum.

So, it’s price in Amazon is 159 dollars. Just in the price range of the previews pedals that I reviewed. But, this one comes with its power supply which is definitely a big plus.

In terms of sound, don’t expect lexiconish ultra-pure reverbs. Although this is a digital pedal, from my perspective, this is a creative complement to the sound. Not a color tool for the sound.

The Oceans 11 has a retro feel that makes it fun to use and goes well with analog and warm sounds.

This beauty has 11 types of reverbs and an ‘infinite reverb’ jack which allows you to connect an external footswitch to control (mainly increase) the decay time of the currently-selected reverb to infinite.

I really liked the hall, reverbs, echo, mod, shim, and poly modes. These are truly creative weapons. The rest of the modes are OK, but not ‘clean’ enough for my taste.

In the center of the pedal, there is a ‘mode button’. This one can be used in the echo mode, allowing you to swipe between normal delay, ½, and 3/4. In the trem mod, It changes the LFO waves from square to sine. In mod mode, it allows you to add the EHX flerb or a chorus + flerb or chorus + vibrato.

In dyna mode, the button suppresses note attacks and fades-in their reverb tails or you can activate a noise gate selected that opens the reverb sound for only louder notes. Also, it’s possible to apply a ducking algorithm that reduces the volume of the reverb while notes are being played. Finally, in poly mode the button allows you to add two pitch shifts or you can mix those pitches.

This is a tremendous pedal. As I said, a truly creative weapon. This wouldn’t be my main reverb, but it is definitely in my podium.
