Tom Was Here: Liberty Bell Center & Independence Hall - Philadelphia, PA - September 2024

Took a quick day trip into Philadelphia and wanted to see some of the historical symbols of the US so I visited the Liberty Bell center which is across the street from independence Hall. I unfortunately did not have the time for a full tour of Independence Hall but got to see it from the outside. I did get to step foot into Liberty Bell center, a small museum with top end security that houses the Liberty Bell. The Liberty Bell is very busy and very touristy even on a Thursday afternoon. You do get your moment to take a picture with the bell and they have some exhibits and artifacts on the Liberty Bell history. It is a free museum as it’s through the parks department. It seems a lot of people try to cross the street to Independence hall so they have security there to stop people. You have to have a tour to even walk on the sidewalk out front.
