Chinese Premier Li Keqiang is making an official visit to UK with 250-person business delegation between 15 June and 18 June.

The visit is being marked by the UK - China Trade & Economic Forum in Westminster Central Hall on 17 June. The business delegation is joined by 300 senior UK business representatives at this large-scale, high-level event.

Edited report on the business forum in London -Partners for Growth - organised jointly by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), Department for Business Innovation & Skills (BIS), UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME), China Enterprises Association in Britain (CEAB) and the China-Britain Business Council (CBBC).

In the opening remarks of Dr. Catherine Raines, Minister and Director-General, UKTI, she gave the graphic illustration of the dramatic and rapid growth of the Chinese economy, which is well echoed with Zhang Yujing, President of CCCME as well as the leader of the Chinese delegation, who put importance upon the mutual benefits of close bilateral relations between China and UK.
