I’ve done a lot of video is in the past 12 months but none are perhaps more important to recreational golfers than this one! There are a few, and I mean a ‘small’ FEW elite coaches on YT that are talking about using your ARM SWING to ACTUATE your body dynamics.

All this means that you can utilize your arms to control or influence the movements and motions of your body. Essentially, your arms play a role in how your body moves and functions.

In the video I discuss TWO Simple DRILLS that engage correct FUNCTION of both the TRAIL & LEAD ARMS! IF you do the drills you’re going to FEEL what it’s like to swing the golf club with the SUPPORT of your body!!

I’m getting comments, emails and swing videos EVERY DAY from all over the world from golfers struggling because they thing their BODY drives their ARMS!!

There’s been a TREND out there right now for a few years that assumes that we are all capable of moving our bodies like Elite Tour Players. There’s an OBSESSION with body dynamics, creating lag, forward shaft lean and stabilizing the club face!!! Now I’m not here to say that these aren’t important elements in the golf swing.

IF you’re an ELITE golfer with HIGH SPEED who’s struggling to control the CLUB FACE there is of course value in using the BODY to STABILIZE or slow down the ROC (Rate of Closure) But these very things are in my opinion causing the exact opposite effect with 85% of golfers who are all well intentioned but are over using their body early and deferring to their arms too late!!!
