In 1978, the Seaview is sent to retrieve an unmanned space probe that returned to Earth, carrying an alien life form. Despite stringent decontamination procedures, it survives and begins to take over the crew.

This beautiful HDTV broadcast recording of a restored and remastered film surpasses the commercially-released DVD set and any other syndicated or network broadcasts of Voyage.

Voyage viewers during its original American network run saw the ABC Color Presentation opener before every episode of its second season.
