Amazon tracking says delivered but no package - Watch this!

If you've ordered something on Amazon or shipped something out on Amazon to a customer/buyer, and the tracking says it was delivered but you didn't receive or find any package, here's what to do.

I had a case where the buyer ordered from me and I had it shipped out the next day. It was delivered and a photo was taken but the buyer later claimed they never received a package. I took a look at the photo the delivery man took after he delivered it and the package was left on top of a garbage bin for some reason.

As a result, I concluded since this package was left in a very odd or unusual and unsafe place, it is most likely the package was either thrown away accidentally or taken by someone. I contacted customers support and explained them the situation and fortunately they offered me a refund or credit even though tracking says it was delivered and a photo was taken, if you have a good enough reason the package was handled poorly or left in an unsafe place, you could get your refund.

Keep in mind, some people could abuse Amazon system and lie claiming they never received it even though they did. It's possible you could keep the item and get your money back, so essentially you got your item for free. There's no way for anyone to truly prove it unless it was a signature delivery.

So as long as you have a good standing with your account and haven't requested refunds often, there's a good chance they will help you.
