Bradley Roy started it off with a win at the first even of the year in Louisiana and Jacob Wheeler finished it off with his second Angler of the Year trophy in two years. In between, Randy Howell shattered the BPT record with a 12-pound largemouth, Alton Jones Jr. racked up $150,00 in big-bass awards, Ott DeFoe won Heavy Hitters, Michael Neal won his second straight Pro Circuit AOY, Dustin Connell racked up three Bass Pro Tour wins and Alton Jones piled up five Top 10s.
