You’re on a hunt when you run into Sam Winchester. You ask where Dean is and he tells you that he’s turned into a demon and he’s trying to find a way to bring him back. You offer to help him, noticing how tired and defeated he looks, he shakes his head and says no.
You point out how exhausted he looks and he can’t go on like this because he’ll end up tiring himself out.
“I’m fine” he responds softly
“You might be able to lie to yourself but not to me. I’m not taking no for an answer so I’m coming with you whether you like it or not. I just want to make sure you’re ok” you said matching his softness with a slight sternness.
He sighs admitting defeat and opens the passenger door to the impala, you climb in and make your way to the bunker.
You arrive at the bunker and stare in wonder at how nice it is.
Sam places his bag down on the table and sighs deeply.
“I need to go and give him his next dose I’ll be back in a minute” He walks off and you decide to follow him.
“Sammy, you know I hate shots” you hear Dean taunt Sam and a few seconds after a demonic scream after Sam injects him.
A few hours later you and Sam are sitting in the kitchen. Sam goes to open the cupboard and shuts it again.
“I’m gonna head out and buy some food for us. Keep an eye on him for me please I think the blood is doing something bad to him and I don’t want to lose him” Sam’s voice cracks towards the end.
“Of course that’s what I came with you. I’ll keep an eye on him don’t worry” you assure Sam before he gives you a soft smile and heads out.
An hour passes and you go to check on Dean you hesitantly stand at the door but before you can open the door a faint chuckle comes from the other side.
“I know you’re there. Sammy couldn’t handle me on my own so he needed some support, is that right? Well guess what? You’re just as weak as he is, you can’t control me. So remember this when I get out of here and I will get out of here, I’m coming for you”
Your breathing increases and you feel your heartbeat get quicker. You hear him laugh.
“What you have nothing to say, are you scared? You should be” you can almost hear the smirk on his face as he says it.
You quickly walk away and lean against a wall trying to catch your breath.
You walk back into the kitchen and and grab a glass of water and you slowly feel your anxiety disappear.
A little while later a loud thud startles you and you walk out into the corridor and slowly walk to where Dean is being held.
As you approach your anxiety quickly floods back and you see that the room is empty and faint footsteps can be heard echoing throughout the bunker.
You quickly run into a room and try to lock the door as quickly and quietly as you can.
You reach for your phone only to realise you left it in the kitchen. You let out a shaky breath and back into the far wall and sit on the floor with your hand over your mouth trying to remain as quiet as possible as the footsteps get louder.
You can only hope Sam gets back in time to save you...
