Dude came from about 4 cars back, had no hope of stopping and pitted me. To prove they didn't back off, they hit me again. Their gt is visible on the leaderboard.

This is the same incident from their POV - note how during the contact they're back at full throttle... This is not apologetic in the slightest. This is elbows out ramming style racing. Players like this are the cause of revenge rammers. Please ban.

This is them diving into a corner with no space, just using other people to slow and turn - they don't care about the effects on others, note the "no hint of a lift of the throttle"! That's two players they immediately affected by ramming one who hit the other.

This player seemed a bit wild. They dived into a corner to make a 3 wide, got pinged 2.25s for it, came out of that all hesitant and slow then shot across the track, pitted me before dropping into the menu.

So at the time I felt I'd completed the pass and that they went off track and shoved their way back past. From their point of view it's not quite as clear cut as I thought. It's perhaps questionable if the pass was completed and I should have maybe left a bit more room for them but I still think they went off track to get their shove on.
