Rankings were computed from results of The Brawl to End it All, Championship Wrestling, All Star Wrestling, All American Wrestling, Tuesday Night Titans (TNT), Superstars of Wrestling, Wrestling at the Chase, Maple Leaf Wrestling, Georgia Championship Wrestling, matches televised in Japan, matches taped for Coliseum Video tapes, televised house shows at Madison Square Garden (MSG), The Spectrum in Philadelphia, The Capital Centre in Landover, Maryland, The Meadowlands in East Rutherford, New Jersey, Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, New York, and other events.
