If you get married, the condition is met and the ring is yours. If the wedding is called off, it depends on who ended the engagement — and sometimes, why.
If the bride breaks it off, she’s usually expected to return the ring. If the groom ends it, the bride typically keeps it. But what happens if the groom cheats and then the engagement ends? Things get murky — and that’s when people call me.
