Avila Beach Things To Do | Point San Luis Lighthouse, Avila Valley Barn, Hiking, Pirates Cove Beach

Activity ideas for Avila Beach:
1. Visit Point San Luis Lighthouse (Wed/Sat only). Highly recommend this if you're into history, guided tours, or lighthouses! Buy tickets in advance and shuttle transportation is provided.

2. Visit Avila Valley Barn for some family fun! Grab something to eat (baked goods, fresh produce, fruit, ice cream), feed the animals (or just watch!), visit the bakery and produce stand, go on hay and pony rides. They also have seasonal U-pick fields.

3. Go on an easy hike at the Shell Beach Bluff Trail. It is 1 mile out and back, plus a bit further to reach Pirates Cove Beach so it was ~3 miles round trip.

4. Grab dinner in Avila Beach and enjoy the sunset from the pier.
