Arko Shaving Stick and a 1928 Gillette Safety Razor

I've been hearing good things about the Arko shaving stick for years and I finally got my hands on one. Let's see how this old school shaving stick works and how well it lathers. I also give some fairly unambiguous opinions about the scent of these shave sticks!

The razor I'm using is the little brother to the 1921 Gillette New Improved, and this one is the same model, but made in 1928. I start off with a vintage Gillette Blue Blade razor blade but quickly realize that it hasn't aged well...
