The Umzinto community is still reeling in shock following the death of a man who confessed in a viral video to killing his girlfriend.

His body was found hanging from a tree in Malangeni, Umzinto, not far from where police discovered the body of 25-year-old Nontobeko Cele with multiple stab wounds.

SABC News Reporter Nonhlakanipho Magwaza spoke to the victims grandmother and uncle in Umzinto.

The family says Sibusiso Lawrence Ntaka could have come to them to discuss their problems instead of killing their child.
