Can you even call this a "boost"?! | Origin Effects DCX Boost Demo

I'm quickly becoming a massive fanboy of everything Origin Effects does. The DCX Boost is the latest in their series of guitar pedals capturing old vintage studio gear. This time, it's the UA 610 preamp that they stuffed into a compact pedal and it's wildly versatile and sounds awesome.

Lately I've fallen back in love with using lower-gain texture pedals - boosts, EQs, low-gain overdrives, preamps - for my tone shaping and cascading them with other drives to add gain. Well, the DCX excels in nearly all categories, and I have loved having it on my board this past month.
