Recently I made a train journey from Kushtia Poradaha Railway Station to Rajshahi.In this video I will show you one of the oldest railway stations in Bangladesh, Poradaha Railway Station Junction .I am going to Rajshahi from Poradaha. On the way I will show you Bangladesh.I have made several time journey by train,Poradaha to Rajshahi Train service is good.

About Poradaha Railway Junction:
Poradaha Railway Junction Station is a railway station in Kushtia District in the Khulna Division of Bangladesh.
History of Poradaha Railway Junction:
Poradaha Railway Station is one of the most important railway junctions in the south-west.The Eastern Bengal Railway Company opened the broad gauge (5 ft 6 in) railway section from Kolkata to Ranaghat on 29 September 182.and opened the railway section from Ranaghat to Kushtia on 15 November 182.During the British rule, the first railway from Calcutta to Kushtia Jagati was established on 15 November 182 through Poradaha.In 18 the then British government laid the railway line from Darshan to Jagati and then it was gradually reformed.Later, when the Bheramara railway was started from Poradaha within 18 years, Poradaha became a railway junction.In 1896, the Darshana-Poradaha section was upgraded from a single line to a double line.
Periodically burnt in 1909 - Bheramara,
Bheramara-Ishwardi in 1915
And in 1932 the Ishwardi-Abdulpur sections were upgraded to double line.
Poradaha Rajshahi, Dhaka, Rajbari, Khulna etc. can be reached by rail.
More than 40 trains travel through this junction every day. But the passengers have to suffer from time to time due to the railway line during the Mandhata period.According to the conscious citizens, the sector is not able to reach the desired target due to mismanagement of the railway authorities.

Hardinge Bridge is a steel railway bridge over the river Padma located at Paksey, Ishwardi and Bheramara,Kushtia in Bangladesh.The bridge is 1.8 kilometres (1.1 mi) long.
About Lalon Shah Bridge:
Lalon Shah Bridge (Pakshey Bridge) is a road bridge in Bangladesh over the river Padma, situated between Bheramara Upazila of Kushtia on the west and Ishwardi Upazila of Pabna on the east.The bridge is 1,800 metres (5,900 ft) long.
