St. Ann's High School was founded in 1876 by the congregation of the sisters of St. Ann. it is a catholic minority institution, but it is open to students belonging to other denominations as well.

In carrying out its aims and objectives the school as a minority institution reserves for itself its inherent and constitutionally recognised rights of management and administration.

The aim of St. Ann's school is to impart a balanced and all round education to promote the integral development of the personality of each student.
