Zlonk II

Here are two fun ones I started building in 2010.
That's when I drilled the enclosures and had two front plates made by a company in Sweden.

It was gonna be the follow up to my first big hit the "Zlonk" (I think sold 10). They're not named after or based on the Zonk or zonk machine or whatever, I didn't know those existed at the time. I just took the name from the old batman fight sounds. The next one was gonna be called "ZAP!".

But anyway, today I finally finished them. It only took 14 years.
So if you want some aged, slow cooked fuzz, this could be it.

It's a simple two silicon transistor fuzz with switchable input capacitor (tone) and adjustable (trimpot on the inside) or preset bias for the second transistor (gate). I named that gate because I didn't know any better and it's too late to change now.
Either way, it's pretty fun.
