Riding the sky ride (gondola) during me and my family's trip to the Oakland Zoo in Oakland, CA. What was the occasion? It was my sister's birthday weekend so she wanted to bring us here as a family in celebration for her (early) birthday. The weather was a bit on the rainy side but we still enjoyed all the wonderful animals, attractions and more. We even got to ride the Sky Ride (gondola) to go to the upper areas of the zoo (aka The California Trail). We also ate our lunch up there (The Landing Café) before heading back down to continue checking out the rest of what the zoo has to offer. Certainly, this is the place to simply enjoy the great outdoors with your friends and families.
