Healthier Versions recipes for macronutrient restrictions. I share these recipes because I know what it's like to live with dietary restrictions. Because of this eating lifestyle I have been able to avoid being put on 4 medications, maintain a 17 pound weight loss, maintain a blood pressure range of the mid 120's to the low 130's, as well as maintain an a1c in the low 5's.

Today's recipe took a lot of prayer to make it work. It took a combination of 2 recipes and what the Master put into my head. It turned out extremely well. The recipe and Healthy Highlights are as follows:

Red Velvet Swirl Cheesecake Bars

Fiber=0.9g Sugar=20.1g Protein=6.3g

Ingredients
Cake Spray As Needed
Goldfish Crackers (Smores) 1 pkg
Sugar 1 tbs
Margarine (softened) 3 tbs
Cream Cheese (⅓ less fat) 4 blocks
Sugar 1cup
Vanilla Flavor 1 tsp
Eggs 4 lg
Cocoa 4 tbs
Date Sugar 2 tbs
Red Food Coloring 6 squirts
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Remove marshmallow pieces from crackers, then crush them
Combine crushed crackers with 1 tbs sugar and margarine
Spray oblong pan with cake spray
Pour cracker mixture into pan, spread evenly and bake for 5 minutes
Reduce oven heat to 325 degrees
Cream together cream cheese and sugar
Beat in eggs and vanilla flavoring
Remove 1 cup of batter and put into a small bowl
Add cocoa, food coloring and date sugar, blending well
Pour white batter on top of crust & dollop chocolate batter on top
Using a butter knife make swirls in the batter
Bake for 40 minutes then cool for 20 minutes
Refrigerate for 3 or more hours
Cut into 16 squares and enjoy!
