In this video, we’re talking about the new sales price experience that was rolled out in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central 2020 Wave 2 release.

Business Central can automatically calculate special prices and line discounts on both sales and purchase documents and on job and item journal entries.

You will need to select the new sales price experience option in your Business Central Feature Management application area, so though it was released some time ago, it is still “new” and needs to be enabled to use it.

This pricing experience is not only for customers (Sales Pricing), but for vendors (Purchase Pricing) as well. We’ll review how to determine if the new feature is enabled and focus on how to setup rules for pricing discounts and all basic setups for pricing for purchasing in D365 BC using the new pricing feature.
