Raking - Use your hands like a comb and rake the product through your hair. This way of applying wavy products is great to evenly distribute the styler, detangle the hair and help to encourage wavy clumps to form.

Praying hands - Apply the product across your palm and smooth flat hands over your hair. This method is great for assisting with even product distribution and smoothing the cuticles.

Roping - Gather a section and pull the product down gently over the hair from mid-lengths to ends. This method of applying wavy hair products is great for encouraging wave clumps to form.

Bear Claw - Make a claw shape with your hand and pull gently through your waves. Great for creating larger clumps by closing the hand and allowing the clumps to form between your fingers.

Brushing - Take a curl friendly brush slowly through small sections at a time. One of the best ways to reduce wet frizz, detangle, and for forming curl clumps.

Scrunching - Cup small sections in your palms, push upwards towards your roots and scrunch or pulse in your hands. This way to apply wavy hair products is great to help curls spring back and to encourage a tighter curl pattern.
