How Seabin Is Using Business and Big Data To Clean Up Sydney’s Harbour | Act Local

How do we remove the mass amounts of rubbish in our Australian oceans? Put a rubbish bin in the water. That was Pete Ceglinski's simple conclusion when he launched the concept of Seabin, in an attempt to clean Sydney's Harbour.

Seabin started selling these impressive bins before they soon realised they could play a much bigger role in cleaning up our oceans by gathering data on what was ending up in these bins.

Now, they’re pioneering how businesses can protect the planet by delivering nature positive impact data to corporate clients worldwide.
