Navicula have become heroes in Indonesia's rock underground for their raw, neo-grunge songs protesting government corruption and the degradation of the environment. At Twice Bar, a cramped, sweaty punk rock club in the Kuta resort area of Bali, they play on the floor with their fans pressing in close around them to sing along. Given the location, their song "Orangutang" and its message about the fragility of nature couldn't be more urgent.
