On Friday, August 16th, the Shearwater team volunteered at the Project C.U.R.E. facility in Nashville. Project C.U.R.E delivers life-saving medical equipment and supplies to hospitals and clinics throughout the under-resourced world. Many countries that Project C.U.R.E. offers to, including the Philippines, Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, and Zimbabwe, are the home countries of Shearwater Nurses who now work for U.S. healthcare organizations.

Shearwater believes that improving healthcare outcomes globally has a ripple effect. That’s why Shearwater works with organizations that help promote healthcare in countries that don’t have the same access as the U.S.
