‘Kathir’ is the latest single from MC Valluvar, one of India’s fastest growing Tamil rappers. M.C. Valluvar’s real name is Kathir, and he adopted the stage name ‘Madras City Valluvar’ to represent his roots.

The aptly named song is talks about Valluvar’s life as a boy who was born and raised in a gully in Chennai and how he used music as a means to escape from his reality.

M.C. Valluvar is joined by the nationally acclaimed and super talented Aditi Ramesh who brings her 'Sambar Soul' to the mix and producer/musician Keba Jeremiah who is part of the founding team of OriginalDog and works nationally with top industry legends such as A.R. Rahman and Anirudh Ravichandran.
