PULSe4k & SF8008 BlindScan Test

This video shows the poor satellite blind scan performance that is provided by AB-Com in their new PULSe4K receiver. The Octagon SF8008 has the same tuners and the same chip set as the PULSe4K. The Octagon SF8008 blind scans correctly. The PULSe4K blind scans poorly, which makes the feature unusable.

The AB-Com PULSe4K costs more money than the SF8008, but has less features in the satellite tuner area as compared to the less expensive SF8008. The AB-Com PULSe4K should be avoided in satellite systems that need DVB-S2 blind scan and satellite systems that need a good tuner.
