The Amazing Life and Abilities of Musical Savant Derek Paravicini

Derek Paravicini is blind, autistic and has severe learning difficulties. Although he finds spoken language and many everyday tasks challenging, he is a fantastically brilliant improvisational pianist who remembers all that he hears. How can such incredible talent co-exist with such severe diability?

In this fascinating talk and demonstration, Derek and his mentor Professor Adam Ockelford of Roehampton University discuss Derek's incredible life and musical abilities and take your questions.
