Removing the Growl - Wheel Machining

This video shows the process I use for truing the wheel for polyurethane tire upgrades on the Carrera 1/32 cars.Some new PU tires cant be trued up until the wheel is trued first.

I didn't own a tire razor or truing device at the time of this video and used the car chassis for the process. You'll not the track I use as a stand uses a mount cut from a Carrera display box and the nut. I cut it off, sanded it so it was angled, cut a hole in a piece of track and glued it together. I'll do a how-to on that at a later date.

DISCLAIMER: I would not use this method for Formula 1 cars or others that use the "long can" engine with the 1.0mm shaft as damage to the pinion gear can result.
