Track 7 from the 2001 album The Continuum Theory by the Indiana grunge band Faded Edge, later renamed to Falter. I'm uploading it here because as far as I'm aware, this band's work is no longer available anywhere online without use of the Wayback Machine.

Penciled on paper is my final request

One lie can open my eyes
Truth is so easy to disguise

Still I cannot decide
Where I should draw the line
Impurities scatter my mind
Search the sky for a sign

Falling on the ground is the words I hear
I'm looking for comfort from my horrid fear
Peace of mind I find in the things I'm told
Questions I would have had are now worn and old
I know I'm on too deep, can't get away
But then I remember how to pray
I kneel down and I feel like I'm going to fall
