In Python, continue is a keyword used within loops (for loop, while loop, etc.) to skip over the current iteration and move on to the next iteration.

When continue is encountered in a loop, it immediately stops the execution of the current iteration and moves on to the next iteration. The code that comes after the continue keyword in the current iteration is not executed, and the loop control jumps to the next iteration.
