A little re review of sorts for the Slap Happy Weed Wackers Premium Set "synthetic gut" double bass strings. After just shy of two years they're stretched and played in well, which has improved their over all sound and tuning stability (although it can, at times, still be a bit suspect). As far as budget strings that still offer a decent sound and playability, these are definitely a good choice, especially for rockabilly slap playing. Take a listen and see what you think.
