This Faulty Camshaft Ruined my Engine!

Описание к видео This Faulty Camshaft Ruined my Engine!

In a previous episode, we stripped down the Rover V8 engine fitted to my 1988 Land Rover Defender 110 Hi-Cap and attempted to find out why it was running so badly. In this episode, we diagnose a faulty camshaft and use the opportunity to upgrade further!

Watch as we show you how to install a new camshaft and lifter and what's involved in camshaft installation in a V8 engine with hydraulic lifters. We fit a Kent Cams H180 sports torque camshaft and walk through the process of rebuilding the engine.

We also check the cam timing using a Cloyes Dual Roller timing chain set.

Tuning parts used in this episode:
Kent Cams H180 Sports Torque Hydraulic Camshaft
Cloyes Dual Roller Timing Chain Set
Edlebrock Performer Inlet Manifold
Edelbrock 500 (Carter/Weber) Carburettor
