Uni-Vibe before or after pedals?: JHS Unicorn V2

I've always wanted to try a Uni-Vibe. Back in the 90's and early 2000's they were expensive and kind of rare. So, I ended up forgetting about the idea of getting a Uni-Vibe and settled with Phasers and Chorus pedals instead. Lately, I've been on a Uni-Vibe kick, so I reached out to the kind folks at JHS pedals, and asked if they were interested in sending one my way.

They obliged and sent their Unicorn V2. Now, considering how little experience I have with this specific guitar effect, I decided to test out the Unicorn V2 with some of my favorite pedals and experiment with not only the controls, but also the pedal placement and signal chain.
