With their newfound airship, they face the boss Gray Claw, defeating it swiftly with the power of a scythe. Now able to explore the world freely, the party visits Jachol and ventures into the Jachol Cave, where they confront the terrifying Skull Eater.

Returning to the desert, they witness the rise of a gigantic flying fortress, heralding a new chapter in their adventure. With Cid and Mid’s help, they gather Adamantite, upgrade the airship, and prepare for their greatest challenge yet—storming the skybound fortress.
