This week we have Round 4 of the Mic Booster Shootout with the Blue Encore 300 Handheld Vocal Condenser Microphone vs the Shure SM 57 and SM 58 boosted by a Klark Teknik CM-2 which is a dual channel microphone booster. The interesting thing about this comparison is it's essentially a condenser capsule microphone shaped like a stage mic versus the overwhelming favorite and majority market share holder microphones being boosted with the external unit. The Blue mic is supposed to be the higher end model and is referred to specifically as a Vocal Condenser Microphone.
