During my second trip to Nigeria, I wanted to do more than chill or relax in Lagos, I wanted to understand the country’s heartbeat: its history, its people, and the culture that connects us all.

From Osun Groove to the breathtaking views of Bower’s Tower in Ibadan, this journey took me deep into the culture and heritage. From learning how Adire and Aso Oke fabrics are handmade by dedicated craftspeople, to reflecting by the water in Badagry, this trip was like nothing I had experienced before.

Every location told a story:
🌿 Osogbo (Osun State): where spirituality, sculpture, and nature intertwine.
🏛️ Ibadan: home to Mapo Hall and the famous sea of brown roofs.
🎨 Abeokuta & Ede: where I discovered the art of Adire dyeing and the mastery of Aso Oke weaving.
🌊 Badagry: where serenity and symbolism meet at the edge of the water.
🏙️ Lagos: the vibrant heartbeat that started it all.

This film is a celebration of the connection between tradition and modernity, between who we are and where we come from.
