Lenovo T420 BIOS Password Reset without Full Disassembly / Supervisor Password Bypass

Showing how to do a BIOS/Power On Password reset on a Lenovo T420. I show a way to do it without fully disassembling and removing the motherboard. Subscribe. Like. Comment.

Here’s the pictures to doing the T420 BIOS / supervisor password reset. Also in the video I removed all the bottom case screws. That’s unnecessary, all you need to do is remove the access panel and remove the keyboard screw. To jump it, I put a pin in the first short spot and gently swiveled it around making it wider for the tweezers and got my other shorting point ready by having the connection be made just by slightly closing to tweezers. I plugged in a keyboard to press “F1” right after I hit the power button and at the same time completed the short.
