In the name of the father. the son, and the holy spirit amen.

Heavenly Father.

I come before You with a heavy heart, recognizing the pain I have caused with my words. I know that my tongue has not always been used to bring life, but at times, it has hurt others, and for that, I am deeply sorry.

Lord, I ask for Your forgiveness for every hurtful, careless, or angry word I have spoken. I did not always think before I spoke, and I acknowledge the wounds I may have caused in the hearts of others. Please forgive me for not reflecting Your love in my words.

Help me to seek reconciliation with those I have hurt. Give me the humility to apologize and the grace to make things right. Soften their hearts to receive my apology, and may healing flow between us.

Holy Spirit, guide my tongue so that my words may build up and not tear down. Help me to speak with kindness, patience, and love. Fill my heart with compassion, and let my words be a reflection of Your goodness and grace.

Thank You, Father, for Your mercy and for the opportunity to start anew. Thank You for loving me, even in my imperfections, and for teaching me to love others in the same way.
