Yes, savings accounts are good, but what's better? High yield savings accounts (HYSA), CDs (certificate of deposit) and I Bonds. If you're trying to save money, leaving it in a savings account is fine, but you could be earning a far higher interest rate!

In this video I'll explain what the following accounts are, how they are better than savings accounts (way better interest rates), and when you should be looking into them:
high yield savings account
certificate of deposit (CD)
I bond (otherwise known as an inflation-linked savings bond, GREAT for times of high inflation)
