Anamaya, the Tribal Health Collaborative has adapted the animated video ‘Good Sputum Better Diagnosis’, originally produced by Interactive Research & Development (IRD) Pakistan, in Hindi.
This instructional video is a step-by-step guide to help understand how to provide a good sputum sample to be tested for tuberculosis (TB). The video aims to aid community and paramedical workers, who screen presumptive TB patients within tribal communities for TB, send samples to the nearest laboratory for testing, and guide patients to avail treatment and support from the government.
