Mt. Fuji day trip from Tokyo: Honcho Street | Fujiyoshida | Chureito Pagoda | Lawson Kawaguchico.

Today's post takes us on an incredible journey to the iconic Mt. Fuji during the early days of autumn. The sight of the ice cap forming atop the mountain was breathtaking, marking the onset of a beautiful season.

With our DIY itinerary in hand, we started on an adventure with a commuter train ride to Kawaguchiko and a return bus trip to Shinkjuku.

Our first stop was Honcho Street, a now-renowned spot offering a perfect, picturesque view of Mt. Fuji. The experience of simply walking along this street and gazing at the majestic mountain was awe-inspiring.

Refueling with an authentic Japanese lunch at Gaki Daisho Ramen, where we think we had the tastiest if not the most delicious, juiciest and crunchiest karaage.

We summoned our adventurous legs to a hike and made our way to the stunning Chureito Pagoda, overcoming obstacles and revealing in the beauty that surrounded us.

As the day drew to a close day, we ended up our Mt. Fuji picture taking at the now famous Lawson convenience store.

Our hearts full of unforgettable moments and our cameras packed with breathtaking views, we bid farewell to Mt. Fuji,

Join us on our next adventure as we explore more of Japan's wonders! Don't forget to like, share, and subscribe for more travel tales and adventures. Arigato Gosaimasu! 🇯🇵✨
