Woodturning - All Hail Cedar!!

Cedar Goblet, hence- All Hail Cedar! - a clever title indeed. My last chunk of Cedar until I get more. Best part about turning this aromatic Eastern Red Cedar is it is already dead and super dry. No moisture what so ever, but it does tend to check and crack to the pith. I did glue cracks near the top and one at the base with Stickfast, then sanded it out. The base is a little smaller than I wanted but there was an indentation in the wood that I tried to get past.
This bad boy is 10 inches tall, and while hollowing it came loose from the chuck. I stopped and made up a steady rest to hold it. I had been meaning to make one for quite some time, so now was a good time. 1.5" x 12" circle, got some roller blade wheels, few bolts, had some threaded knobs kicking around, and BAM....instant steady rest! I think I spent 25$ on the Roller Blades.
