Lim Teck Yin talks about the role of sports in Singapore and how the sporting culture helps to foster national unity and common identity locally. Mr Lim Teck Yin is currently the CEO of Sport Singapore. As a sportsman, he was a former national water polo player with six Southeast Asian Games medals, one Asian Championship medal and a recipient of the Singapore National Olympic Council Team of the Year Award for 1986, 1989 and 1991. Asides from sports, he is a brigadier-general from the Singapore Armed Forces after 30 years of military service and is a board member of the Anglo-Chinese Schools and the Anglo-Chinese School (Independent)
