Before Elden Ring, I never thought of really trying any of the Souls-like games. They just seemed too punishing, to agonizingly frustrating to even warrant my attention. However after succumbing to the beauty and the hype around this game, I can fully realize what the whole fuss was about. I see you, Elden Ring....I see you. Thoroughly addicted to the masochistic "charm" of this newest and long awaited souls-game, I cannot fathom why I was so "scared" in the first place. Putting me through it's trials by fire not only hardened my determination to succeed, but my desire to strive for that finish line, to put in the time and the effort, and ultimately be rewarded for all of my blood, sweat, and tears, when so many others have crashed and burned along the way. Thank you Elden Ring, my gamer has grown three sizes this day because of you!
