Horse racing is a popular tradition among the people of sumbawa. The riders of the horses are children whose fate contrasts sharply with those who own horses. The jockeys must ride wild horses without any kind of protection, including shoes, saddles, or helmets. For this work, they receive minimal monetary compensation. The film shows poignant moments from the horseracing world: the risk of investing capital, the joy of winning, pride, and gambling.
